How often are you actually getting your oil changed in this heat? Asking seriously

I moved here about two years ago and I still haven't fully figured out whether the standard oil change intervals I was used to back home even apply in this climate because the summers here are genuinely brutal on engines in a way I didn't really appreciate until my mechanic pointed out how dark my oil was getting way before the recommended mileage. Back home I'd go the full distance no problem but here it feels like the heat just accelerates everything and I've started wondering if I should be doing it more frequently. I ended up looking into a car oil change service in Abu Dhabi that a colleague mentioned because he swore they actually talk you through what grade of oil makes sense for local conditions rather than just doing a quick swap and sending you off, which apparently makes a real difference for engines working harder in this heat. Is anyone else adjusting their maintenance schedule because of the climate or am I overthinking this and the intervals are fine as long as you're using the right synthetic?
